Frontend Senior Angular/React Developer

A front-end developer is required to support client engagements. Key responsibilities will be supporting senior team members and acting as a key member of the project team. There will be significant interaction with technical and functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the software engineering team, Principal engineers, and other senior project team members or client resources to provide technical solutions through modeling and proof of concepts.

• Participate in identifying problem areas and defining solutions, and be able to articulate problems and solutions in non-technical language to stakeholders.

• Understand the interactions and dependencies between software components.

• Design and develop software solutions to client requirements using efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

• Provide clear documentation supporting code, solutions, and processes.

• Demonstrate exemplary behavior in the use of JIRA / ADO, ensuring tickets are estimated realistically and that progress and status are clear to other team members and stakeholders.

• Support the software engineering lead(s) in a project setup, execution, code review sessions, and key ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives. 

• Stay current with the latest technology and industry trends. 

•  Act as a team leader in supporting the learning and development activities of other software engineers with technical expertise, Agile ways of working, and soft skills.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

• 5 years experience with front-end technologies: Angular and React using JavaScript, HTML 5, and CSS preprocessors (LESS/SASS)

• In-depth experience in using ES6/ES7 features such as arrow functions, promises, and observables

• Knowledge of CI/CD frameworks and tooling, e.g., GIT, Jenkins, etc.

• Experience working in scrum/sprint teams using agile ways of working, including knowledge of JIRA / ADO.

• Excellent knowledge of English – both written and spoken
